Golf day to raise funds for darts team
During July, five Barbertonians, Donald Alderson, Petrus Schoeman, André Schmahl, Jannie Venter and Marinda Schmahl will represent Mbombela Darts at the SA National Darts Championships in Cape Town.
The full team, eight men and four women, also include players from Nelspruit. On March 29 the Barberton Darts Club will host a golf day at the local golf course which will help in covering their costs for the champs in the Cape.
The event will start at 09:00 for 09:30.
A halfway snack and full dinner are included. After the event fantastic prizes will be handed out to the winners.
These include a weekend getaway, DStv, printer and various fabulous vouchers.
“It will be greatly appreciated if the businesses in town could take part in this fun-filled day by entering or even acting as sponsors,” said Venter.
