Penryn excels in netball tournament
The Penryn Open Girls netball team went to Johannesburg this past weekend to participate in the St. Andrews Netball Festival.

Penryn’s Open A netball team were invited by St. Andrew’s to participate in their annual festival.
This festival is attended by the top independent schools in Johannesburg. These schools include, St. Stithians, Rodean, and St. Marys. A total of 16 schools participated in this tournament.
The teams are divided into four pools. Penryn’s Open girls played extremely well on the day. The competition was tough but they gave it their all. They came 3rd in their pool.
The pools then competed against each other according to their seeding in the previous round.
Penryn managed to finish 11th out of 16 schools which was an excellent achievement considering the quality of the teams participating.
