Teams step up to the plate to qualify for the last 16
This past weekend Block A Junior Bucks, Hoyi Darkies, Mangweni Intermilan, Mthatha Peacemakers, Mighty Blizzards, Mawewe Chiefs, Mananga Royal City, and Mlambo Royal Cubs, all made it into the last 16 of the Champ of Champions.

Junior Bucks made it into the next round of the tournament after a 1-0 victory over Langeloop City Movers.
This weekend Junior Bucks will need to put on an improved performance when they take on Driekoppies Barcelona for a last-eight position.
Mdladla Black Movers’ journey towards the R200 000 grand prize was brought to an abrupt end when they were trashed 3-1 by Hoyi Darkies.
In order to advance into the next leg of the tournament Darkies will have to end KaMhlushwa Real Madrid’s campaign when they meet on Saturday July 19.
Despite a brave performance by Block A Naughty Boys, they were given an early exit out of the tourney by Mangweni Intermilan, which secured a 4-3 penalty victory after a one-all draw after 90 minutes.
Buffelspruit Home Defenders failed to register a goal when they were defeated 1-0 by Mthatha Peacemakers, which will face Mbuzini Hotspurs in the opening game this weekend.
When the tourney resumed on Sunday July 13 Middelplaas Mighty Blizzards and Magogeni Classic put on an outstanding performance for a place in the last 16.
