KZN claim Girls U18 North Sevens Interprovincial title
KwaZulu-Natal on Saturday cruised to victory in the SARU Girls Under-18 North Sevens Interprovincial competition after toppling the Blue Bulls in the final to remain unbeaten in the two-day series.

The Durban team set the tone for their dominant showing in their opening match on Friday as they thumped the Limpopo Blue Bulls 25-0. They built on this with a 19-0 victory against the Pumas and a 17-5 win against the Griffons to establish themselves as one of the favourites early on.
The Blue Bulls A team also proved that they could be a force to be reckoned with after overcoming a 5-5 draw against the Golden Lions in their opening match to defeat the Leopards 20-10 and their Blue Bulls B counterparts 37-0 on Friday.
These impressive results allowed the teams to finish day one at the top of the log standings of their respective pools.
KwaZulu-Natal maintained their winning momentum on the second day to topple the Leopards 12-0, while the Blue Bulls A side knocked the Griffons 20-5 to book their places in the final.
The Durban side, however, absorbed the pressure well and capitalised on their point-scoring chances for a well-deserved17-5 victory and the gold medal.
The Leopards, meanwhile, finished the tournament in third position after registering a convincing 22-0 victory against the Griffons in the third and fourth-place playoff.
