Chiefs supporters ready to invade Soweto for derby
The Kaizer Chiefs Umjindi supporters branch says it is all systems go as they prepare to invade Soweto for this weekend's pre-season friendly derby.

Amakhosi, the defending champions of the Carling Black Label Cup, will host bitter rivals Orlando Pirates at the FNB Stadium on Saturday afternoon. Kick-off is at 15:00.
According to Maras “Kortman” Nkosi, their branch is well prepared to travel to Gauteng to witness their beloved Amakhosi defend the title. “We have been in touch with our supporters in and around Umjindi since the beginning of the month. It is a norm for them to watch the Black Label Cup every year and this year will be no different.”
He said they bought their tickets early and have a few available for those who might want to travel with them.
“The tickets were sold out late June. But because of our past experience, we bought a bundle of tickets because we have learnt that most supporters leave it until it’s too late. We still have few left and those who are interested, can contact us,” added Nkosi.
He says they will make their first stop at the Chiefs’ village, Naturena before heading to the stadium. “Any supporters, who might need to buy any Chiefs merchandise, can purchase it through us.
Those willing to renew their membership cards, but who will not be going to the stadium, can send their application form to us,” said Nkosi.
Taxis to the stadium, at a return fare of R320, will depart from Rockfellaz at 06:00.
