Two wins for Penryn in rugby week

Penryn was one of the few medium schools which participated and all their matches were against large schools.

The boys played three matches over four days against the following schools:
• Match 1: Penryn 32-24 General Hertzog
• Match 2: Penryn 7-24 Hoërskool Overkruin
• Match 3: Penryn 12-10 Frans du Toit.

“This is the third year that Penryn has attended this week and we are pleased with the performances of our team. It bodes well for the upcoming Noordvaal Schools League,” said the head coach, Graeme Stewart. He added that his team played considerably well against much larger schools and that they were proud of the effort and spirit in which they played each match.
