Local bodybuilder to compete in first IBFF show in Africa

Hazyview's muscle queen, Tessa Els, will compete in her first competition for 2015 when the International Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation (IBFF) Africa hosts its first show on the continent.

Els will be participating in the world-class evening with entertainment and a bodybuilding show aimed at officially welcoming the IBFF to African shores. She entered the Ms Figure category and says there’s only 12 days to go until the competition and that she feels great.

The overall winner at the opening gala event will receive a pro card, which will qualify the contestant to compete in the first-ever IBFF pro show, taking place in June 2015 in Slovenia.

IBFF Africa will host 10 shows in South Africa in 2015, in addition to shows in Zimbabwe and Ghana.

IBFF representation is still required in Cape Town, Durban and Pretoria.

Tessa took first place in the ladies figure over 1,63 metres at the Nabba SA Pretoria Classic held at Unisa at the beginning of May 2014.

The IBFF Africa takes place on April 25 at Vodaworld, Midrand.

Anyone who would like to make a contribution towards Tessa’s dream, can contact her on 073-245-8461.
