Home team keep focus to bag the game
The Hazyview rugby team won their recent match against the Nelspruit Kudus thanks to determined players and a tight defense.
Thanks to a tight defence, the Hazyview rugby team defeated the Nelspruit Kudus 21-14 during a match on their home ground on April 11. They put on a great performance after lagging behind with by 3-7 at half-time.
Hazyview’s strategy worked well in the line-outs, with a lot of momentum gained from the line-out drives. The players kept their focus and performed well, gaining confidence as supporters cheered them on from the sidelines.
Pieter Taljaard, Hansie Grobler and Adam Botha were chosen as the men of the match for excellent performance.
The team have a couple of weeks to rest before their next game, but coach Manie van Wyk encourages players to be at practice every Tuesday and Thursday at 18:00.

Friends, family and community members are encouraged to come and support the team. An entry fee of R15 per person is payable at the gate, and will be donated to CANSA to aid the organisation in the fight against cancer.
