Karatekas visit KNP for training
Karatekas of the Hazyview and Skukuza dojos had a great time preparing for the half-year grading during gashuku in Skukuza last weekend.

Karate students will be training hard until the grading takes place at the end of July. Students who pass the exam will advance to the next belt.
Three instructors and 62 karatekas participated, with Skukuza parents providing snacks and Michele Hofmeyr arranging entrance at the Kruger Gate. The group's enthusiasm was rewarded as they managed to spot wild dog, hyena, elephant, giraffe and other wildlife during their trip to the venue.
Due to Skukuza's hot weather, part of the event had to be moved to the great outdoors but the group enjoyed the experience immensely.
The Hazyview Dojo will hold its next competition on August 15 at the Kiepersol Farmers' Hall.
