Teams compete in full force at Curro
A total of 20 hockey teams from all over the Lowveld came out in full force to play at Curro Nelspruit College on their new AstroTurf field last Sunday.
A total of 20 hockey teams from all over the Lowveld came out in full force to play at Curro Nelspruit College on their new AstroTurf field on Sunday(May 24). It was a fantastic day hosted by Impala Hockey Club.
More than 250 players and spectators enjoyed the spirit and action-packed matches which took place this past weekend.
This year, for the first time in many, there are two leagues being run in the province. Players and umpires from the Lowveld are encouraged to join and participate in the league taking place in this area.
The next matches will take place on Sunday May 31 at White River Country Club from 08:30 to 16:30. Great hockey and good food awaits you. Enquiries: carey@mpumalangahockey.co.za
