Showjumper’s prowess earns her six medals
A young showjumper of Skukuza has won six medals (two each in gold, silver and bronze) in various equestrian competitions in the last four and a half months.

Demi Venter, an 11-year-old pupil of Skukuza Primary School, won her most recent gold medal during the Ponderosa Show Jumping Competition on May 16.
She participated on Firematic from Nottinghill Equestrian Centre in White River and came first in the 70-centimetre class.
Demi said she would never have made it this far in her showjumping in such a short period if it wasn’t for her instructor, Hennie Groenewald of Nottinghill and her horse, Firematic. She said the three of them were a strong team and she encouraged children who wanted to learn showjumping to consider Hennie as a coach.
