Gold for karateka
For members of Team South Africa who will go overseas soon, it was compulsary to attend.
Tiaan Schwirzer of the Wolves Martial Arts Academy took home two gold medals at the Korean Martial Arts All Styles Championships that were held recently at Potchefstroom.
For members of Team South Africa who will go overseas soon, it was compulsary to attend. The local academy was represented by five contenders who did very well at the tournament. In total, the Wolves brought back 10 medals.
The individual results were as follows:
• Tiaan Schwirzer – three medals (two gold, one silver)
• Roux Burger – three medals (one gold, two silver)
• Chané Schwirzer – two medals (silver)
• Jacobus Meyer – two medals (silver).
