Gymnasts show their prowess in a range of disciplines
Gymnasts of the Nelspruit Academy excelled at the North Zone Challenge that took place in Kempton Park, Johannesburg.
This was thanks to success in recent competitions.
Isabel Prinsloo, Jade Timm, Kaylynn Anne Mare and Suné Graham all achieved first places in the overall results in the Women’s Artistic Gymnastics (WAG). In the men’s category, Ruben Roos received gold for vault for individual apparatus.
At a gymnastics competition it is not only the overall winners or the apparatus winners who are awarded medals. Based on an average score total, they also receive achievement medals.
