Local players jet off to Australia
The four South Africa Junior Indoor Cricket teams were officially capped this past Saturday at a glossy ceremony at Rivonia Barnyard in Johannesburg.
Six of the 48 players were from the Lowveld. They left for Brisbane, Australia on Sunday morning for the WICF Junior World Series which starts this coming weekend.
The Lowveld representation in the SA coaching and management team in Australia for the Junior World Series are Eric Grimaldi (coach, boys u/18), Rovonne de Lange (manager, boys u/14), Charmaine Murphy (coach girls u/18) and Jacki Dyer van Zyl (manager girls u/18).
Here are Dean Dyer (boys u/16), Anerika Jacobs (girls u/18), Reuben de Lange (captain u/18), Jamie de Vos (girls u/18), Campbell Davies-Webb (boys u/14) and Katie Prior (captain girls u/18).
