Young man wants to help soccer players excel at life

The 18-year-old Mr Simon Mabaso of Mjejane is determined to use soccer to keep youngsters off drugs, alcohol abuse, and from becoming involved in criminal activities.

However, Mabaso is in need of help through sponsorship to ensure that he achieves this goal which he has set for the people.

“I decided to look after the kids in my community. I am responsible for keeping them busy by playing soccer, so that they can one day become one of the best players in our country,” Mabaso explained.

He said, “I believe that together as a community we can help the kids achieve whatever they want to have in life, as long as we support them in whatever they are doing. After all, life is not all about us only, but it is also all about helping others so that they can have better lives.”

They need all the standard equipment which a soccer team require.

“We really need support or donations such as money, so that we can be able to buy soccer balls, jerseys, boots, gloves and a whistle. It may not be money only, even if you are able to donate any of the items mentioned, we will also highly appreciate it,” Mabaso added.
