Gymnasts get geared up for provincial trials

Nelspruit Gymnastics Academy (NGA) is preparing for the forthcoming provincial trials.
Recently it held a club competition where head coach, Maré Putter explained that the gymnasts needed such training to compete in events to become accustomed to the pressure.
Category-one to -three gymnasts participated in the preparation competition.
Putter added that NGA would have a week-long training camp during the school holidays to prepare the gymnasts for the first Mpumalanga trials, which take place early in the third term.
Mieke Louw was awarded a trophy for the highest average score achieved.
