Lowveld hosts first leg of series

This weekend, over a 100 swimmers from all over South Africa, and even Germany, will compete in the first of the two Grand Prix Series meets, which will take place at Van Riebeeck Park.

Spectators can look forward to some of the countries’ top swimmers with the likes of Ayrton Sweeney, Erin Gallagher, Martins Binedell, Hanim Abrahams, Rebecca Meder and Emily Visagie, who are part of team South Africa for the Commonwealth Games in Australia.

Most of the local clubs have entered their swimmers for the event.
