Angry Birds placed third.

A total of nine teams competed in nine matches, being awarded points for wins and dance levels.

On the last day of the preliminary rounds, team Angry Birds’ Gabriella Mansfield, Suzile de Beer, Mariaan Beylenvedt, Leandie Botes, Micke Botes and Margo Meyer were on five wins and 34 points and the Flintstones six wins and 37 points.

In the semi-finals the Flintstones were up against the Neon Stars from St Dunstan’s College and Angry Birds had to face Mortal Kombat from Gauteng.

The final match was incredibly close and winning by only one round, the Flintstones were crowned champions.

The studio had won the title before in 2009.

Last year, Nicole won two South African titles in the youth championships classic and Latin respectively, at the Solo Dance Latina South African Championships.

Daniela also brought home a trophy after winning the classic junior-youth South African title and she placed second in the junior-youth energy section.
