Experts present at indaba
Over the weekend, 170 rugby coaches from all over Mpumalanga attended the annual Pumas Coaching Indaba clinic that was held at Nelspruit Rugby Club.
Late in 2014 the South African Rugby Union announced a new programme to streamline talent-identification development (TID).
Mentor of TID, Nico Serfontein was one of the guest speakers.
The group of players that has been chosen for the programme, was in action on Saturday demonstrating some of the key points that coaches must focus on during practice sessions.
Chris Breytenbach, who has coached the Bulls’ SuperRugby team before and proficiency coach, Blikkies Groenewald also attended the indaba.

The latter concentrated on the backline while Breytenbach discussed front-line play and scrumming.
