Ndlovu fights for the crown
Silver medallist of the 14th edition of the Van Wettens Night Race, Prince Ndlovu (LVCC Nedbank) is the new title-holder of the Power of Love Night Race which took place at Mbombela Stadium last Wednesday.
It was a hard-fought win as Mduduzi Hlatswayo (Aventse) and Ntuthuko Maseko (LVCC) constantly breathed down Ndlovu’s neck.
The podium winners crossed the finish line seconds apart.
As was to be expected, Manda Gomes (LVCC) won the women’s race, almost one minute ahead of Allison Hay of Lowveld Canoe Club.
