Vlammies undefeated in warm-ups

On Saturday Hoërskool Bergvlam hosted Hoërskool Barberton for their last friendly match before the first leg of the league commences this weekend.

It was the hosts’ first rugby team’s third consecutive win, and the teams will travel to Frans du Toit, Phalaborwa to compete in the medium-schools league.
The u/15s and u/16s outplayed those of Barberton, winning 24-0 and 39-3 respectively.
Barberton’s second rugby team surged into a six-point lead to clinch the game with 13-7.
Vlammies’ u/14 girls hockey team beat the visiting side 9-0 while the first team narrowly won their match 1-0.
On the netball courts, the u/18 A, u/18 B, u/15 A and the u/14 A teams of Bergvlam were victorious.
