Pelser is on a winning streak. one series left
The fourth event in the Mopani Mountain Bike series for 2018 recently took place at Likweti Bushveld Farm Estate.
Saturday’s race saw reigning champion, Franco Pelser take first place once again in the 48-kilometre event, finishing in a remarkable time of 1:53,27. He also took the title of Bidvest Van & Truck Rental King of the Mountain.
Reinhart Viljoen came second in a time of 2:01,08 and Christo Carelson a close third in 2:02,12.
In the ladies 48-kilometre, Kirsten Gillespie took first place in 2:34,29 and the title of Bidvest Van & Truck Rental Queen of the Mountain. At 2:44,53 Dalene van der Leek placed second and Johlene Faul third in a time of 3:00:30.

The next race will be held on October 17, also at Likweti. This will be the final event for the 2018 series.
