Ringball players invited to join district’s social league
The Mpumalanga Lowveld Ringball District is planning to start a social league in October and everyone is invited to enter a team.

Mpumalanga Lowveld Ringball District (MLRD) will start a social league soon. It will be open to companies, friends and clubs.
Basically everyone and anyone is welcome. Come along to see how the game is played and enjoy the sport.

Ringball is a traditional family sport that has been played since 1907. It is a non-contact sport played by both men and women. It is similar to the game of netball, but with a different rule set and is played at a much faster pace.
The attire is shorts and T-shirt with a pair of takkies. Social league teams may be mixed – five ladies and four men.
Registration closes on September 15 and the league will get underway the first Saturday in October 2018.
