Runners from all over South Africa had the opportunity to participate in the annual Uniwisp Kaapsehoop Marathon on Saturday morning. This three-in-one marathon consisted of 10 kilometres, 21 kilometres and 42 kilometres.

The 21- and 42-kilometre race started at 05:30. The 10 kilometers one started at 06:00. The cut off time was 11:00 and the prize-giving event was held at Mbombela Stadium.
