Lowveld’s top bowls players lift the league cup
The Lowveld Bowls League has just been completed. The league is held annually among the clubs in the region.
Games were played in a fours format over a number of weeks in October and November. The winning club was determined by the team which finished top of the log and was awarded to the club and not the individuals in the team.
Barberton dominated the men’s league from the onset and finished in top position. However, in the ladies’ league the outcome was decided in the final game where LVCC managed to beat Nelspruit.
