Ronny claims his title again at York Adventure Trail Run

Ronny Mabotja won the men's 20-kilometre title for the second time at the York Adventure Trail Run in Sabie on Saturday.

SABIE: He was the winner last year and this year he won in a time of one hour, 46 minutes and 30 seconds.

Mabotja was slower than last year when he won in 01:40,2.

The trail run is an annual race consisting of five-, 10- and 20-kilometre courses organised by York Adventure Club.

Emily Clarke took the women’s 20-kilometre title in 02:08,36.

Nkosinathi Masingo is the new title holder of the men’s 10-kilometre course. He won the race in a time of 49,30.

The women’s 10-kilometre course winner was Linda van Staden and she completed the race in 51,2.

The men’s five-kilometre winner was Marco Janse van Rensburg, in a time of 21,59.


In the women’s five-kilometre race, Dallen Erasmus took first place with a time of 32,51.
