Athletes puts their best performance during friendly interprimary

Nelspruit Primary hosted a friendly athletics meeting last Friday.

There were some athletes who gave an excellent performance.

Sethu Mathebula from Nelspruit Primary achieved first place in the girls u/11 100-metre race, finishing in 14:82. She also took first place in the 1200 metres in 4:36,90, and first in the 80 metres.

 

In high jump she managed 1,35 metres and took second place in long jump with a distance of 3,35 metres. Shiba Menzi from Laerskool Bergland took first place in this event.

Chenade Botma from Laerskool Bergland took first place in the girls u/9  60 metres and she also took first place in the 80-metre sprint.

 

 

Callum van Staden from White River Primary took first place in the u/13 boys  80-metre hurdles, completing the race in 13,21, earning 314 points, and claimed third place in the 100 metres.
Adel Mabuza from Laerskool Laeveld took first place in the u/8 girls 60-metre race in a time of 10,05. She also took first place in the 80 metres, completing the race in 13,42. She scored 510 points in the 60 metres and 570 in the 80-metre race.

 

 

Lebo Molaoa from Laerskool Barberton School took first place in the girls u/11 hurdles in a time of 13,75. She also came first in the long jump with a distance of 3,74 metres.

She took second place in both the 80 metres and 100 metres. She then took third place in the high jump with a distance of 1,10 metres.

 

 

Wian Joubert from Laerskool Clivia took first place in the u/12 boys long jump with a distance of 4,17 metres and second place in the u/12 boys 100 metres.

It was a competitive event for all and they enjoyed the friendly athletics.
