Mbombela businesses padel to glory while cementing relationships

The second Lowvelder Padel Challenge of 2024 was a great success on Friday April 26, when six local businesses came together for a great day of padel fun and networking.

Local businessmen and -women took to the courts at Padel24 Nelspruit on Friday April 26 for the second Lowvelder Padel Challenge of the year and a day of great enjoyment.

The day was a great success, as 12 players took part in the challenge in an American format. The players are randomly seeded into pairs each round, facing every opponent in doubles matches at least once over the course of 11 rounds.

While points are recorded individually, prize places were determined by combining the points of each pair of players from a particular business.

The businesses who took part in the morning of padel were Du Toit-Smuts & Partners Attorneys, Auto Baltic Nelspruit, BUCO, Octopi Smart Solutions and Emnotweni. While each business was competitive, the morning not only enhanced their athletic abilities, but also strengthened intercompany bonds.
