Malelane Golf Club top of pool A in Lowveld Nett League

Malelane has won two of the first three matches so far.

The league team from Malelane Golf Club is flying high in the Lowveld Nett League so far, finding themselves top of pool A and in third on the overall log.

The Lowveld Nett League kicked off at the end of September, and since then, 20 teams from golf clubs all around the Lowveld have been battling it out in five pools of four. Malelane was drawn alongside Kruger Park Lodge, White River Country Club 2 and Lydenburg Golf Club C in pool A. Kambaku Golf Club’s league team was placed in pool C with Lydenburg A, Mbombela Golf Club 2 and White River 3.

The league is now halfway through the pool stage. Malelane has won two and drawn one match so far, while Kambaku has won one and lost two. This places Malelane top of pool A and third on the overall log, while Kambaku is third in pool C and 11th on the overall log.

Malelane’s most recent match was against Kruger Park Lodge, which they won 9-0. Kambaku’s fortunes were, unfortunately, the exact opposite against Lydenburg A, losing that match 9-0.
