IN PHOTOS: Springboks put through their paces at Hoërskool Nelspruit

The shift to NHS was made to avoid damaging the pitch at Mbombela Stadium.

The Springboks deviated from their usual training location in the Lowveld on Wednesday, July 16, when they took to the field at Hoërskool Nelspruit to conduct their training session.

The final test in the Castle Lager Incoming Series, against Georgia at Mbombela Stadium on July 19, is only a few days away and the Springboks have been hard at work. The training session held at NHS on Wednesday was their latest session before the match and the squad was put through their paces under the Lowveld sun.

Former NHS matriculant Marnus van der Merwe would have felt a special sense of pride being back on the field he played on during high school. The Bok team for the Georgia clash was announced on Tuesday, and Van der Merwe is one of three debutants in the starting line-up.
