Cricketer returns from Sri Lanka
Joshua Greeff, an u/15 cricketer from Penryn College, recently returned from the Shaun Pollock Invitation Cricket Tour to Sri Lanka.

“I had an unbelievable time in Sri Lanka and enjoyed the tour immensely,” said Joshua.
Although the playing conditions were very tough with regards to humidity, extreme heat and the wickets turning square, he excelled with both bat and ball.
The team won five out of six games and Joshua captained the side in two games..
He was the top run scorer on tour, scoring 202 runs in five innings at an average of 40. He received two man of the match awards for his batting – in a 30-overs match in which he scored 66 runs off 56 balls (11 fours and two sixes), and in a T20 game when he scored 65 runs of 28 balls (including five fours and five sixes). His best bowling figures were two for 14 in six overs (30-overs game) as well as two for 11 in four overs in a T20 game.
“On behalf of Joshua and myself, thank you to all who made this tour possible. It was a dream come true for Josh,” said his father Mark.
