Swimmers dive into action in Mbombela
The 2023 Grand Prix Invitational Swimming Meet included four days of intensive training followed by two days of competition.
A total of 120 swimmers from South Africa, Botswana, Namibia, Kenya and Zimbabwe participated in the 2023 Grand Prix Invitational Swimming Meet at Van Riebeeck Park’s swimming pool in Mbombela on Friday and Saturday, January 6 and 7.
The meet included four days of intensive training followed by two days of competition.

Meanwhile, the African Swimming Confederation: Confédération Africaine de Natation training camp will also be hosted at Van Riebeeck Park from January 22 to
29.
This camp will be attended by well-known and renowned International Olympic Committee member Dr Sam Ramsamy.
