A pink Mbombela Stadium is on the cards when the Airlink Pumas will take on the Fidelity ADT Lions at Mbombela Stadium on Friday March 17 at 17:00.

It will be the defending Carling Currie Cup Champions’ first home match of the season, and coach Jimmy Stonehouse encouraged all the Pumas’ supporters to paint Mbombela Stadium pink.

“This is a must-win game. We know that the Lions will load their team (with United Rugby Championship players). This week we have been focusing on what we need to do to win the next game. I can’t wait to see what the boys can do,” said Stonehouse.

“We love the people of the Lowveld. We love being based at Mbombela Stadium. We are here because the people support us. Would it not be great to have a pink wave of supporters here at the stadium on Friday? We can fill the stadium. With the people of the Lowveld behind us, we can achieve anything. We need you. Please come and support us. The fans will be able to come onto the pitch after the match. Player cards will handed out to the kids who can then get all the autographs.”

Tickets are available at the stadium’s ticket office and at Computicket outlets.
