Golfers take up the challenge for sixth time at Mbombela Golf Club
Each player’s five best scores will count towards their overall eligibility when the series wraps up.
The sixth Lowvelder Golf Challenge of 2024 was won by Annamarie van Heerden with 43 Stableford points at Mbombela Golf Club on Wednesday July 24.
A perfect Lowveld winter’s day saw a big field taking to the course.
Denise West was second on 42 points and Arthur Moolman third on 41.

The seventh instalment of the 10-event challenge will be held at Mbombela Golf Club on August 28. This golf challenge is a series of 10 monthly competitions, put together and hosted in partnership with the brilliance of Octopi Smart Solutions and Du Toit-Smuts & Partners Attorneys.
In order to qualify for the overall prize, golfers must ensure they have taken part in at least five of the competitions. Each competition is played in the individual Stableford format.
