One of the legendary events on the Lowveld golf day calendar, the Rooikat ON-CON Golf Challenge, once again went down smoothly with the full field of players who teed off at Mbombela Golf Club last Thursday.

The weather played along, with all-day cloud cover keeping the mercury below 26°C.

The amazing gees among the invited players, sponsors and many who just arrived to be part of the day, reigned from the first to the 19th hole.

“Thank you again to all our customers and suppliers who joined in our annual ON-CON Golf Challenge. We had a field of 176 players on this fun day in which Rooikat says thank you for everyone’s business. For those ON-CON customers who missed out, please make time to join us again next year. We strive to make our business bigger and better, and this will not be possible without our customers. Thank you to everyone involved; together we can only be stronger,” said Johan Breytenbach of Rooikat Wholesale Liquors.

The winners of the competition, on 119 points, were Marelize dos Santos, Tanya Cronje, Adele Luus and Dwayne Fermor.
