IN PHOTOS: Internationals defeat South African in closely fought match play at Mbombela Golf Club
Despite the seriousness of the competition, a spirit of camaraderie was evident among the players.
The Internationals defeated the South African team by 11.5 points to 9.5 in the Mbombela Golf Club International Day on Saturday October 16.
Some 21 pairings from each team took to the course, with one point awarded for a match win and a half point for a draw.
It was a closely contested better-ball match play competition, with the Internationals claiming the bragging rights.
