Caddies drive straight and long at Mbombela Golf Club

The day celebrates the caddies' role in Lowveld golf throughout the year.

The 14th Mbombela Golf Club Caddies’ Golf Day was once again a resounding success.

This much-anticipated event was held on a blazing hot (even for Lowveld standards) Monday, December 9.

This day is held annually to thank the caddies for all their hard work during the year. It also gives the bag carriers a chance to display their golfing skills.

Once again, various Lowveld companies came on board to sponsor the four-balls’ shirts and other goodies necessary for a long, hot day on the golf course.

Shadrack Sanderson won the 2024 Caddies Golf Day title on 34 points. Lawrence Mdluli was second on 33 count-out and Henry Madalane finished third.
