The 2025 Noon 2 Moon delivered an unforgettable day of endurance, teamwork and mountain-biking spirit in Sabie on Saturday, December 6..
Riders enjoyed a beautiful summer’s day, and just after 13:00 a brief spell of light rain cooled the course and settled the dust.
From that moment, it was pedal to the metal right into the night as teams and solo riders dug deep to complete their laps and chase the podium.

This year also featured the enduro-style Joker Lap – a short but more technical trail section, designed to test riders’ skill, speed and strategy – rewarding the fastest riders. Unlike the standard 6.6km Noon 2 Moon lap, the Joker Lap is shorter and faster. If used strategically, it can improve a team’s overall position, as completing the Joker Lap takes less time than the regular route.
“The 2025 Noon 2 Moon once again showcased the strength and spirit of our cycling community,” said Schalk Pottas of Trail Awareness Crew, the event organisers. “Congratulations to all podium finishers, all endurance heroes, and especially our Joker Lap enduro champions. We’ll see you again under the sun and moon in 2026.”

• Fastest overall male: Coenraad Combrinck 00:01:19.
