Brakpan crush White River 86-7 in Pick n Pay Gold Cup clash

White River Rugby Club’s journey in the Pick n Pay Gold Cup came to an end at Bosman Stadium in Brakpan on Saturday.
Brakpan Rugby Club thrashed White River 86-7 in the second round of the competition.
Brakpan scored 14 tries to White River’s one.
Dominant performance
Brakpan were simply in a different class from White River.
The East Rand team controlled every aspect of the game and played at a tempo White River could not match.

Brakpan’s tries were scored by Tian Schoeman, Banele Kutumela, Divan Moss, George Giessing (two), Brandon Els (two), AJ Roux, Minnie Siwela, Brandon Swart, Rourke Lyte-Mason, Tjaart Scheepers, Ayanda Mzozo and Menzi Nxumalo.
Schoeman slotted four conversions, Moss one and Scheepers three.
Levy Leonard scored White River’s try, with Liam Pringle adding the two points.
