For the second time in 10 months Eskom has threatened to cut the bulk electricity supply. In September TCM owed it some R164 million. Since then, that account has escalated to a staggering R32 000. The municipality now owes the service provider R196 million.

“There are a lot of elderly people in Mashishing. We are expecting some 260 pensioners today”.
