The question was: “If you could make or change the rules in Mbombela, what would you decide to implement? From our readers’ response, it was clear that we have many volunteers who are itching to run various aspects of our city. A few locals would like the municipal authorities to be accountable to the people.
According to Stacey David, companies around here charge much more (up to twice as much) for products than elsewhere in our country. “This should not be allowed,” she said. “Prospective employers must not be allowed to discriminate against those who do not have their own transport and public transport should be punctual, frequent and useful,” she suggested.
