At 07:20 on Saturday, one of the most anticipated events of the athletics season, the Goldwagen Interprimary hosted by White River Primary School, starts at Hoërskool Rob Ferreira with the traditional athletes’ parade.

The interprimary did not take place last year due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The action will commence at 08:00 with the middle distance races and will conclude at 16:00 with the prize-giving.

Athletes from White River Primary, Barberton Primary School, Laerskool Bergland, Laerskool Laeveld, Laerskool Lydenburg and Laerskool Nelspruit will be in action on the track and field.

The sprints and relays are expected to be exceptionally exciting with the immaculate Hoërskool Rob Ferreira track known for producing record times.

Members of the public must make use of the entrance on Norwin Street and follow the signboards.

Only 1 540 tickets are available and can be obtained from participating schools. No tickets will be sold at the gate.
