Mogale wa Bagale the top school in Bogwasha

BURGERSFORT – Mogale wa Bagale Technical High School is the best in the Bogwasha Circuit.

This school was awarded trophies during the second annual Bogwasha matric awards, held at Dr CN Phatudi TVET College on May 6.

The pupils who excelled in the 2021 matric exams were honoured with certificates, medals and trophies. The award for best pupil in the circuit went to Mildred Phokane of Taung Secondary School.

She accumulated six distinctions in her subjects.

The keynote speaker, Dr Steve Nkadimeng, said, “It is our responsibility as people of Sekhukhune to ensure results
improve in this district. Let’s stop pointing fingers and all work hard to achieve a milestone.

“Let’s stop making targets for matric pass rate and say we aim for 80%.”He pleaded for parents’ support. “Work
together with the teachers. Parents need to play a parental role and not attack teachers.”

Manoke, Taung and Lehlabile schools were some of the other Bogwasha Circuit schools that were honoured.
