Five lucky patrons took home their share of the R250 000 prize on Saturday, February 1.
The Thaba Moshate Hotel, Casino and Convention Resort’s Winners Circle cardholders won an avalanche of prizes on Saturday, February 1.
A lucky draw was held in the Burgersfort casino’s gaming area at 21:00, shortly after the patrons had watched the Soweto derby between Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates.
Fifteen Winners Circle cardholders qualified for a semi-final draw and stood a chance to win R250 000 in cash and free play in the casino’s gaming area. The 15 members were cut to five after a random draw. However, the 10 members who failed to make it to the finals did not go home empty-handed. They received R1 000 each in free-play vouchers.
The five finalists shared the R250 000 in cash and vouchers. The big winner of the night took home a R50 000 cash prize and a R50 000 free-play voucher. Spearheading the lucky draws was Betty Sebopela, while Victor Tsimane was the MC for the night.
Thaba Moshate’s general manager, Philisiwe Gumede, congratulated the winners. She urged them to continue visiting the casino for top-notch entertainment.
