Dumped chrome removed by Phoenix security
According to Jandre Stander of Phoenix, this truck was pulled over just before Jaap se Hoogte.

LYDENBURG – A Ngululu truck travelling on the Roossenekal road was forced to dump its load when protestors forced it to a standstill early this morning.

For the past three weeks, roads in and around town are being closed on account of rioters. Phoenix Security, however, came to the rescue of road users and managed to clean the dumped load and reopen the road. According to Jandre Stander of Phoenix, this truck was pulled over just before Jaap se Hoogte.
“It took us just over an hour to clean the road after the incident happened. We used our Kubota TLB to scoop up the dumped chrome and our water cannon to spray the remainder of the chrome of the road surface.”
The road was reopened and declared safe for travelling shortly after.
