Delivery biker injured in collision

A delivery bike driver was injured in a collision on the corner of Meyer- and Cowen Ntuli Street.

The incident occurred a short while ago after the Darlings Road House delivery bike and a Volkswagen Polo collided on the busy intersection.

According to Hannes Venter, the owner of Darlings Road House, his driver was heading straight along Cowen Ntuli Street from Eastdene’s direction when the Polo allegedly turned in front of him.

The delivery driver sustained a shoulder injury and a deep laceration to his leg.

A section of Cowen Ntuli was cordoned off by the traffic department as ER 24 paramedics administered first aid before taking the driver to the hospital.
