The suspects were chased, and one suspect was caught and assaulted by community members.”
The police were summoned to the scene, and the seriously wounded man was transported to the local hospital by Emergency Medical Services. The suspect was arrested and placed under police guard at the hospital.
“Further police investigations linked him to more charges, including two counts of murder committed in Dennilton and Siyabuswa in 2016 and 2021, and carjackings reported in Dennilton and Mametlhake Village in 2019 and 2024. In another incident, the same suspect and accomplice are accused of pointing a gun at a man and robbing him of his cellphone and other belongings, including his sandals.
