Radical emergency programme

Makua indicated that the improvement forms part of a radical emergency programme aimed at addressing the severely damaged stretch.

“The poor condition of the street posed significant risks to both motorists and pedestrians, disconnecting residents from easy access to the area,” Makua said.

He stated that the municipality seeks to return the street to a functional condition and improve the overall mobility and quality of life for the residents.

“The team will continue to monitor the situation closely to ensure all the work is completed efficiently,” Makua added.
