DA Councillor Flip Jacobs described the move as a necessary step towards the future development and safety of the town.

“These derelict structures had become a blight on the community, harbouring criminal activity and posing serious safety risks to residents and business owners alike. Their removal marks an important milestone in reclaiming our town. We are pleased to inform residents that the new owners of the land are already establishing their presence on the site and have ambitious plans for this prime piece of property. This development promises to bring renewed economic activity and investment to Marble Hall CBD,” Jacobs said.

Jacobs affirmed the DA’s commitment to keeping the public informed about the progress of the development.

“We will provide regular updates as plans unfold and construction begins. We are privileged to be part of this positive change that will enhance both the safety and prosperity of our town. This is the kind of forward-thinking that Marble Hall deserves. The DA remains dedicated to ensuring that urban renewal benefits all residents while maintaining the highest standards of public safety and accountability.”
