The funeral service of Makhuduthamaga Local Municipality Ward 17 Committee member Komane Lompie Nkadimeng (59) will be held tomorrow (December 13) at Manganeng Village, Makgwareng Section.

Nkadimeng succumbed to his injuries following a car accident which occurred on the R579 between Maserumule Park and Vliesboom on December 6.

A mourning delegation from the municipality visited Nkadimeng’s family on Thursday to send condolences and offer support.

Council Speaker Judy Mphelane-Nkgadima led the delegation, which included Chair of Chairs Thabitha Selala, portfolio chairpersons Zachariah Thokwane and Dineo Moshobane, as well as Korobo Nkadimeng and Council Secretary Kolote Matlala, joined by several officials.

Thomas Mashabela, municipal spokesperson, said Nkadimeng will be remembered for his dedication to public service.

“His selfless service to the people connected the community with government authorities through continuous public participation and development programmes,” Mashabela said.
